Terms and conditions for using the Calmika app and website.

1. Introduction
Welcome to Calmika! These Terms of Service govern the use of the Calmika mobile app and website (calmika.com), operated by Dávid Kovács, sole proprietor (tax ID: 90794065-2-33, Hungary).
By downloading and using the app, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, please do not use the app.
2. About the app
Calmika is an educational and developmental app designed for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The app includes AAC communication tools, visual schedules, music therapy, emotion recognition, and other developmental modules.
⚠️ Calmika is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide diagnosis. The app supplements but does not replace professional medical or therapeutic care. Always consult a qualified professional regarding your child's development.
3. Subscription
Calmika is available in two tiers:
- Free plan — AAC Lite and Calm Corner are free forever
- Pro plan — monthly or annual subscription with a 14-day free trial (reverse trial, no credit card required)
- After the trial, if you don't subscribe, the app automatically reverts to the Free plan
The subscription renews automatically each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal via Google Play Store (and future App Store).
4. Refunds
Refunds are processed according to Google Play Store and Apple App Store refund policies. Platforms handle refund requests directly.
If you're unsatisfied within the first 7 days of subscribing, contact us directly at info@calmika.com — we'll do our best to resolve the issue.
5. Intellectual property
The Calmika brand, logo, app code, AAC symbol library, audio content, and all other materials are the intellectual property of Dávid Kovács. Copying, distributing, or commercial use of any content is prohibited without prior written permission.
6. Limitation of liability
Calmika is provided "as is". We accept no liability for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the app, including data loss or missed developmental outcomes. The app is a supplementary tool and does not replace professional therapy.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. Disputes will first be resolved by mutual agreement; if unsuccessful, the competent Hungarian court shall have jurisdiction.
8. Changes
We reserve the right to modify these Terms. For significant changes, we'll notify you by email or in-app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
